So about that scholarship...I got it. Well, by IT, I mean money from them, but about 1/8th as much as the original award amount. Whatever, it's free.
I then went online to decline that same amount in loans for next year.
Two hours later, I got an email from the university telling me that they'd altered everyone's aid to adjust to their new budgets. I did a little check and noticed that they took away about $75 from one of my grants. Thanks assholes.
I guess it all works out in the end.
